Keno is a bingo/lottery style casino game that is even offered in some states as lotteries. Keno has its origins in China despite its Latin and French name.  Keno is often played in casino lounges that are set up for the game. The pay outs in Keno are based on how many numbers a player chooses and how many numbers actually are hit. Multiply that by the proportion of the original wager to the base rate of the pay table. Usually the more numbers picked by a player and the more hit numbers will have a higher payout. Many casinos allow pay table wagers between 1 and 20 numbers. Know your Numbers: The amount of numbers to play needs to be kept in mind while playing and is a question a lot of keno players ask. If you are a consecutive gambler when playing keno you will give yourself a better chance of at least breaking even if you pick few numbers over a large amount.

Study the Payouts: If a player looks carefully at the payout table it can help refine the players strategy. For example if you pick three keno numbers and hit all of them you pay out will be 16 to 1. If you try to pick four numbers your pay out might be 12 to 1, which is a lot harder and the payout is lower. Your best bet would be to stick with the three numbers.
